How does it work--do I need salt and ice?
Salt, ice, and effort are not needed. First, place the machine's chilling chambers in a freezer for about 8 hours to thoroughly freeze the liquid between the walls. Then, position one or both of the chambers atop the power base, insert the plastic paddles in the chambers, lock the transparent tops in place, and turn on the machine. With the touch of a button, this dessert maker automatically starts the process. The two 1-qt., double-insulated freezer bowls operate at the same time, allowing you to make ice cream in one, frozen yogurt in the orther, or double batches of the same kind for large crowds or parties. And if two quarts is too much, use only one of the freezer bowls. Add ingredients through easy-pour spouts to create the smoothest, creamiest frozen desserts. |
