How does this juicer work?
The juicer consists of a motor base with stainless-steel extractor basket, work bowl with pouring spout, clear cover with feed tube and citrus press with large and small juicing cones, food pusher, and spatula. A single on/off button activates the motor. To use as an EXTRACTOR, position bowl on base, insert extractor basket, and place lid on top, rotating it until it locks into position. The extractor uses a fine grater and centrifugal force to separate juice from pulp. Prepare the fruits and/or vegetables by washing them, removing any hard skins, seeds, pits, etc., and cutting them into pieces to fit the feed tube. Place a glass beneath the juice spount, and with the motor running, begin feeding the produce through the feed tube. Juice starts flowing almost immediately so be sure to have your cup in position. Pulp and fibers collect in the extractor basket. If orange, lemon, or grapefruit is desired, remove extractor basket and attach CITRUS PRESS. Cut the fruit in half and place pieces, cut-side down, on one of the two juicing cones. A removable lid fits snugly over the cone to hold the fruit in position and prevent splashing. Since this unit is heavy, around 14.1 pounds, it willnot rock or move around on the counter. Rubber feet add extra stability.
